How To Fix The Shortcut Icon Problem

Hi everyone today am going to show you how to fix the shortcut icon crash on Windows7

first of all there is only one file you need to delete to fix this problem and the file called (iconcache.db)

OK you need to look for this file and remove it and i will use an app called (Ultra Search) for deep searching

1. Open Ultra Search and type (iconcache.db) and when you find it just remove it.

2. After removing you have tow options :
  A. restart your computer.
  B. do the 3rd and 4th next steps.

3. Open the task manager and close the (explorer.exe).

4. Do not close the Task Manager and go to File>New Task (Run)>then Type (explorer.exe) and OK.

5. Now the problem is solved but you have to know that this problem will always appears if you renamed your Shortcuts so please after this do not rename any shortcut on your desktop.
